Web Quest

The goal of the last class was about web quest .In fact ,all students were exciting to know what is it and what is look like it's like PowerPoint or word . Also how can we use it in education to challenge students ?.
Suddenly the teacher discovered that there was no connection with the Internet . I confused because my idea lose and the main picture was not covered completely .I'm waiting to know more and more about web quest .

Our doctor tried hard to solve this problem by calling IT office , but he could not fixed the problem .

This is negative point of using internet so we have to make sure that every thing is working before we start the class it will save class time .

The teacher tried to teach us webquest without connection on the network .I found it very difficult to understand it without real exampels . In my home I start my own searching on webquests and I visits these websites helpful links :

التعليم المتمركز حول الطالب

لقد كان درس اليوم مهما جدا لنا كمعلمين لأنه يجب علينا أن نعرف مستوى تفكير طلابنا ويجب أن نتعرف على النظريات التي تساعدنا لكي نعرف كيف يتعلم الناس ومن أهم النظريات المرتبطة بذلك نظريات التعلم السلوكية والإدراكية والبنائية ولقد بدأنا الدرس بالعمل على شكل مجموعات ويجب على كل مجموعة العمل بالبحث عن أحد هذه النظريات في الإنترنت ، أحببت هذه الفكرة لأنه لو بدأ الأستاذ بالشرح مباشرة سوف تكون الحصة مملة ، لذا استخدم هذا الأسلوب لنشعر بقليل من الفضول لمعرفة هذه النظريات وربما أراد بذلك أن يستخدم طريقة التعلم المتمحور حول الطالب يمكن تعريفه بأنه : موقف تعلمي تزداد فيه درجة تحكم المتعلم بأنشطة التعلم وتقل فيه درجة تحكم المعلم .
في التعليم المتمركز حول الطالب يشاركون الطلاب بحيوية بعملية تعليمهم ويستخدمون استراتيجياتهم الخاصة.
أما التعليم القائم على التساؤل فهو البحث عن المعلومات من خلال طرح الأسئلة سواء كانت من قبل المعلم أو الطالب ، ويقوم الطلاب بالنظر للأسئلة و المشاكل بشكل ناقد ،ويقومون بالبحث عن الأجوبة حيث يقتصر دور المدرس ليصبح ميسر للعملية.
أعتقد أن هذه الطريقة تشجع الطلاب على التفكير في حل المشاكل وتعطيهم الدور ليصبحوا بنائين للمعرفة.

في البداية أحمد الله لأنه أصبح لدي الآن مدونة أستطيع فيها التعبير عن آرائي وانطباعاتي عن كل ما هو جديد ومفيد في هذا المساق ، والآن بعد أن أنشأنا مدوناتنا كان يجب علينا أن نعرف الكثير من الأمور المتعلقة بذلك مثل كيفية ادخال الصور وتنسيقها وتغيير الخطط واللون ولقد وجدته سهلا للغاية لأنه أشبه بمايكروسوفت وورد . بعد ذلك بدأت أفكر في طريقة لاستخدام المدونة في الصف الدراسي ورأيت أنها وسيلة مفيدة جدا للنقاش حول موضوع معين أيضا سوف يكون حلقة وصل بين الطالب والمعلم خارج الفصل قد يكون مثيرا للجدل ، ولم لا نستخدمه أيضا لنا نحن كمعلمين للتواصل مع الزملاء الآخرين سواء على مستوى المدارس أو الدول لتطوير عملية التعليم ومشاركة الأفكار الجديد ومناقشتها معا لدفع عجلة التقدم في التعليم .

The Blog in my class
We can use it as a discussion board. for example, we can share some pages and exchange ideas or inputs and comment on each topic .
Moreover, blog could be used as a tool to know the difficulties that the students face in class and what materials they aren't really confident about. As a result, in class teachers could strengthen these weaknesses by providing more examples for them . It also could assist students to know the applications of some subjects like math in the real world . This way , they will appreciate the values and the benefits of this subjects .There is alot of strong point for the class blog but the problem is does all student have Internet in there homes ?

if yes that's good and if no we have to find another way to connect with these student .

My first step on teaching

Hi every body :)
Welcome to my first blog .I am so happy to have my own blog and i am excited to publish my reflections on ICT class . I hope to create a special blog to my class in order to create nice connection or communication with my students in the class . Today we received our user name and password to be able log in in to computers from campus or home .Im very happy to join this collage and I hope to be effective and creative teacher .







I think that This is a good step on teaching and I hope to make strong relation as a teacher between the students and the computers . I believe that there are a lot of programs which we have heard nothing about and I like to learn more and more on it . Internet is a world of information and it is very helpful in education .We can use it to search , learn and found new things which related with education .

ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology and it includes any communication device like computers ,videos ,and other communication tools . .( as shown on the picture below)

The important thing is to know how to apply these technologies for learning and education .I like using computers in my subject ( math and science) and from my experience as a cover teacher on some schools I found that students like playing educational games . I'm looking to learn more ideas and technologies which can help me to improve my teaching skill .Also, I hope to use it on teaching and far away from traditional teaching .
